Events plugin not working, to many redirects

When i enable the Apache rewrite module in Basic settings in admin, the events plugin will not work, all my listings get a blank page and the error message This page isn't working at the moment redirected you too many times.
So the url friendly urls are not working properly in the rewrite module, is this in htaccess

Multilingual paths

The option can be enabled with 2 and more active languages on the site.

Filter - Ads are filtered on the seller page by locations selected by visitors;
URL - Locations are added to seller page URLs; no filtering is done.
