Currently posting of an ad requires user to navigate through 6 pages.
I guess it would be convenient to users if it was only 1 or 2 pages.

This is critical and a must to have sooner than later.
I completely agree! one page for each of the following:

>Registration
>Product post
>Product purchase & checkout
>bid and checkout

These will set the software apart from any software out there.
These will drive all kinds of the now people to your website.
80% of the now shoppers are tired of any classified/e-commerce website with a bunch of jargon because
it is unproductive and boring. I call it, lazy website alike lazy man
People don't have the patient to go thorough page after page. They just want click buy and go. like fast food. Done!
