Hi

We have an escort site (www.girl4u.co). Advertisers can use numerous options to advertise including single day, 3 days, week, 30 days etc. This causes a couple of "issues"

1. Currently if an advertiser ads a listing for one day at say 5:00pm it expires at midnight so they have only got 7 hours advertising instead of 24. Ideally the listing should run for the period of time specified i.e. if advertised at 5:00pm for one day it shouldn't expire until 5:00pm the next day.

2. We have repeat advertisers who only advertise Thursday, Friday and Saturday (i.e. take a 3 day listing.). Given the above they have to add their listing on Thursday to be active on the site for the three days they wish to advertise. Ideally the site should allow the option of putting in a start date, and maybe even a start time for the listing so that advertisers can forward book their advertising.

Thanks

David

until you get a fix what you would do is set the timer for 2 days this will ensure you have a 24 period. in your example it would run 24 + 7 hours

Here until I got a fix for this I would run a pay for 3 get 7 days offer, so extend your view to 7 days and promote it as that, list early for free, this way the busy people will see it as a kind bonus and not focus on the exact timing being a problem.
