Hello Tomi,

I have created a mobile site at all devices is my logo at iphone 4s is the flynax logo at mobile site you can test this my site : www.m.shpi.al

I checked our site and it is work fine for me. Try to clear cache on your device.
If it is not help you. You need to open it http://www.shpi.al/templates/mobile_default/img/logo.png then check your site and it will work fine.
Thanks.

I have iPhone 4S and logo is same on mobile as it is on your standard website. It's happened for me b4 where it's took ages for changes to take effect, even after clearing cache

Me too .... Clear cache on HTC (chrome) and on iPhone 4s but nothing works ... nexus 7 pad works fine?!?!?!
All redirect to m.straightmaleescorts.com correctly but HTC and iPhone both have old data
A mate tried his iPhone (almost positive first time on site) he too had bad old logo?
Ahh and another iPhone did the same? Bizzare!

Off to see on the interweb who else is having this problem ... nope got it .... change logo.png (yep there's another) in mobile.../img/x2

Some things about favicon for iOS:
http://www.falsepositives.com/index.php/2011/01/31/adding-favicons-for-moble-safari-web-sites-ipodiphoneipad/
http://www.jamesgagliardi.com/favicon-on-the-ipad-iphone-ipod-touch-2
http://iconhandbook.co.uk/reference/examples/favicons/

So, I would say that the .png files

apple-touch-icon-114x114-precomposed.png
apple-touch-icon-72x72-precomposed.png
apple-touch-icon-57x57-precomposed.png

should be in templates/your_template_for_mobile_site/img

and in the file templates/your_template_for_mobile_site/tpl/header.tpl after

<link rel="shortcut icon" href="{$rlTplBase}img/favicon.ico" />

should come also:

<link rel="apple-touch-icon-precomposed" href="{$rlTplBase}img/apple-touch-icon-114x114-precomposed.png" />
<link rel="apple-touch-icon-precomposed" href="{$rlTplBase}img/apple-touch-icon-72x72-precomposed.png" />
<link rel="apple-touch-icon-precomposed" href="{$rlTplBase}img/apple-touch-icon-57x57-precomposed.png" />

All our templates have this file by default, i think you or somebody remove it from website. You can create new favicon file and upload it to "img" directory.

I think it's easier to just replace the favicon.ico file in the theme, then, ftp all the other ico and tile files into the site root. I believe that the devices will check the site root for the various size files. You can see this in your error log or 404's in AWstats. This way you don't need to add any meta tags to the template.

Generate your ico and tile set using iconogen.com for example from a 200x200 square jpg logo, download the zip, its a free service!

If anyone has success or failure with this please reply to update the idea.
