can i have custom Category URL for categories ?

hi.,

i am trying to set custom Category URL
how can i do so ?

Only registered members can view the code.

in short i dont want this format like parent-category/sub-category.html


i know the admin panel doesnt allow much to modify the category url as parent key is already added in it., but i tried modifying the DB table fl_categories
and set Path as car-electronics for category : Car Electronics instead of electronics/car-electronics


but the main page categories box is still showing the old url structure.

i even tried to refresh all the options from the admin >> common >> refresh
