Where to adjust main paragraph on Home screen to be similar as on demo website?

You should go to Admin Panel > Listings > Listing Types > your listing type > Edit > Additional Category Box > Show box on > Home; Position > Top; Display subcategories > Yes

and then go to Plugins > Category Tree > Install
